He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Hoffman and Winifred Hoffman (Dolechek); his wife Evelyn Lucille Johanning; his daughter Ann E. Musser; and his brother Anthony "Tony" Hoffman.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Todd Musser of Newton; and his grandchildren, Eric Hoffman (Mandy), Kevin Hoffman (Veronica), Nathan Hoffman (Kimberly), Ryan Hoffman (Jenna), Benjamin Myers, Paul Myers, Landon Hoffman (Breanna), Aliese Hoffman, Sarah Musser and Marisa Musser. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A prayer will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (108 E 5th St, Hoisington, KS 67544). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Church Parish Hall. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (108 E 5th St, Hoisington, KS 67544).
Memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers to the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church or Clara Barton Hospital Foundation in care of Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home.
