He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Demel and Mary Demel (Klug); his brother Raymond Demel; his brother-in-law Kenneth Schremmer; his nephew Lance Walters; and his great grandchildren, Jack and Cade Jonas.
He is survived by: his wife Darleen Graves; his children, Janet Jonas (Shawn) of Hoisington, Tammy Burke (Peter) of Campbell, Texas and Tom Demel (Brenda) of Wichita; his grandchildren, Austin Jonas (Katie), Audra Paquette (Adam), Brandon Burke (Blair) and Walter Burke (Meaghan); his great grandchildren, Hunter, Jordy, Brecken Jonas, Anthony, Ajla, Audie Leonard, Layton, Landyn Burke, Bodie, Stella Rose Burke, Austin Paquette, Jeremiah Valles, Liam, Averie Garcia, Jacob and David Alter; his siblings, Robert Demel (Rosemary), Marvin Demel (Phyllis), Allen Demel (Margaret), Mark Demel (Barbara), Dolores Rosenberg (Jim) and Rosemary Schremmer; and also Patricia Demel.
