He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Ludwig and Agnes Ludwig (Watts); his wife Marjorie L. Debes; his sons, George C. Ludwig, Robert J. "Bobby" Ludwig and Patrick Ludwig; his siblings, Delbert Ludwig, Josephine Brack and Wilma Kitterman; and his grandson Kevin Anthony Kaiser.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Davis (Keith) of New Cambria, Loretta Riedl (Bert) of Great Bend, Mary Kaiser (Kent) of Bushton, Robin Nicholson (Brian) of Windsor and Dennis Ludwig (Christine Allen) of Olmitz; his daughters-in-law, Veronica Ludwig of Olmitz and Jeri Ludwig Henderson (Bob) of Cleveland, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Jessica, Allen, Quentin, Jeremy, Francis, Crystal, Angela, Kayla, Audrey, Rachael, Justin, Kyle, Jennifer, Shawn, Karl, Derek, Matthew, Ethan and Sienna. He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren.
