It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Roy Wheeler of Hoisington, Kansas, born in Norton, Kansas, who passed away on December 7, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Hazel Wheeler; his son Kelly Wheeler; his sister Shirley Bell; his father-in-law Royce Kaiser; and his brothers-in-law, Curtis Kaiser and Duane Oborny.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Dallas Jr., Royce and Braeden; his wife Cindy Wheeler; his children, Rory Wheeler of Holyrood, Natasha Cole (Kenny) of Hoisington and Dallas Sleezer, Sr. of Lochbuie, Colorado; his grandson Alex Cole; his mother-in-law Pauline Kaiser of Salina; and his sisters-in-law, Coletta Gisick of Odin, Connie Hatten of Great Bend, Christine Morrison of Wichita, Cindy Kaiser of Newton, Clara Oborny of Wichita and Camille Straub of Wichita. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
