It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard R. Connell (Hoisington, Kansas), born in Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on June 22, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Connell and Josephine Connell (Wilson); his wife Bonnie Lee Mousel; his sons, Steve and Mike Connell; and his sister Phyllis Carr.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Connell (Kim) of Claflin and Carol McAtee (Travis) of Great Bend; his daughter-in-law Belinda Connell of Claflin; his grandchildren, Jessica Keeton (Mark), Kipp Connell (Brooke), Addie Cullen (Jeff), Kandice Thurman (Nate), Krystal Hickel (Dustin), Becca Duncan (Dave), Kyler Connell (Kristan), Reed McAtee (Callie), Keyton McCombs (Joe) and Gage McAtee; and his great grandchildren, Graecyn, Ellie, Tenley Keeton, Chance, Adrian, Molly Cullen, Kimber, Kaptin Thurman, Hagen, Huxten, Holden Hickel, Devin, Elaina, Jack Duncan, Hannah, Sloane Connell, Haven, Trace McAtee and Maze McCombs.
