It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Larry Embry of Hoisington, Kansas, born in Shawnee, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 13, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Karon Louise Cromwell; his mother Minnie Landis; his stepfather Robert Landis; his sister Gayle Crump; and his great grandchildren, Lauren Paige Kemp and Brody Ray Wallace.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Embry (Gloria) of Newton, Tracy Yotter of Newton, Kathy Naillieux (Troy) of Derby and Sonya Douglass (Craig) of Newton; and his siblings, Leon Embry (Judy) of Wichita, Penn, Layton Landis of Garden Plain and Geneva Patton of Hoisington. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; and 48 great grandchildren.
The casket will be open at the funeral home Thursday between 1:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M., where the family will receive friends between 6:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association, Heart & Soul Hospice and Caring Hands Humane Society.
