It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Lee Balderston (Hoisington, Kansas), born in Clay Center, Kansas, who passed away on September 3, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Hazel Balderston (Forney); his grandson Tanner Starkey Flaherty; and his siblings, Larry Balderston, JoAnn Krager, LaDonna Rundle and Ray.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Balderston; his son Heath Balderston (Jamie) of Andover; his stepchildren, John P. Flaherty of Lenexa, Michael Flaherty (Angela) of Derby and Shelly Keller (Travis) of Hays; his former wife Sharon Angelmeyer (Lagasse) of Great Bend; and his grandchildren, Dayton Balderston, Avery Balderston, Jordan Flaherty, Madisyn Keller, Quinton Flaherty, Kaitlyn Flaherty, Camryn Flaherty and Karlynn Flaherty. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
