He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Wise, Sr. and Jean C. Wise (Hoover). He is survived by: his siblings, Virginia "Ginny" Hathorn (Dave) and Robert Dayton Wise of Shreveport, Louisiana; and his nephews, Joshua Hathorn (Charm), Caleb Hathorn (Katy) of Shreveport and Daniel Hathorn (Hannah) of Monroe, Louisiana. He is also survived by nine great nieces and nephews.
