She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter "Earl" Thornton and Myrtle Nora Thornton (Maynard); her son Aaron Nicholas; and her siblings, Veatress Webb and Earl "Junior" Thornton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Stacey Vincent of Hoisington, Dulcy Palnau of Wichita, Corrie Mater of Wichita, Audrey Kirkman (Chad) of Wichita and Sarah Mater of Wichita; her sister Charlotte Brown of Puyallup, Washington; her grandchildren, April Van Scyoc (LaShon) of Hoisington, Tristan Palnau of Wichita, Brody Nicholas of Osage City, Payton Steiner of Wichita, Aidan Palnau of Wichita, Braxton Nicholas of Hoisington, Orvis of Wichita and Theodore Kirkman of Wichita; and her great grandchildren, Nora and Ella Van Scyoc.
