Genevieve Marie Reif Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Genevieve Marie Reif of Hoisington, Kansas, born in Schoenchen, Kansas, who passed away on March 18, 2021 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand Tauscher and Anna Elizabeth Tauscher (Werth); her husband Joseph F. Reif; her siblings, George, John, Robert, Aloysius Tauscher, Bernadine Gross, Regina Josephine Ernst, Lidwina Werth and Cecilia Tauscher; her children-in-law, Aimee Reif and Mark Richardson; and her great grandchild Alex Dexter.

She is survived by: her children, Susan Richardson of Hutchinson and Alan Reif of Olathe, Kansas.; her grandchildren, Elizabeth LaVier (Adam) of Virginia Beach, Michael Richardson (Kimberly) of Dana Point, Brian Reif (Kara Smith) of Lenexa and Dr. Erin Dexter (Chris) of Augusta, Georgia; and her great grandchildren, Portia LaVier, Leonardo LaVier, Daphne LaVier, Celeste LaVier, Liam Dexter, Charlette Dexter, Ethan Dexter, Matthew Dexter, Luke Dexter and Hunter Reif.

Genevieve enjoyed spending time with her family which was sadly interrupted by the Covid Pandemic for the last year.
