She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Turner and Annabelle Turner (Page); her former husband Richard Freeman; her husband Howard V. Whithorn; her siblings, Robert Turner and Barbara Howell; and her stepson Larry Whithorn.
She is survived by: her brothers, Jim Turner of Arcadia, Charles Turner of Raytown, Carl Turner of Pittsburg, Jack Turner of Arcadia, Bill Turner of Fort Scott and Junior Turner of Arma; and her stepdaughters, Carole Richardson, Sharon Snell, Bonnie Miller and Rona Smith.
