He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred V. Wondra and Regina Rose Wondra (Kirmer); his wife Margie Lynn Miller; and his siblings, Leo, Jerome Wondra and Ann Oberle.
He is survived by: his children, Mellisa Miller (Justin) of Hutchinson, Mindy Burkhalter (Paul) of Smithville and Mike Wondra (Angela) of Overland Park; his siblings, Bernard Wondra of Hoisington, Mary Rose Oberle of Claflin, Leona Canfield (Jim) of Great Bend, Theresa Schremmer (Wayne) of Wichita, Norbert Wondra (Nancy) of Eugene and Doris Morgan of Wichita; and his grandchildren, Morgan, Brooke Miller, Andy Burkhalter, Aubrie Burkhalter (Camren Harris), Allie Burkhalter, AJ, Connor and Caroline Wondra.
