She is survived by: her husband Kerry Higgins (Hillsboro); her brother Al Bryan (Hutchinson); her daughter Teri Shelton (Hutchinson); her stepdaughter Amanda Flores (Walton); and her grandchildren, Alex Rivera (Wichita), Nic Rivera (Newton), Josslynn Flores (Walton), Bradley Hunter (Galva), Ryan Hunter (Lehigh), Faith Shelton (Canton) and Hope Shelton (Hillsboro). She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Broadway Colonial Funeral Home (120 E Broadway St, Newton, KS 67114).
