He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Funk and Louise Funk; and his brothers, George and Roger Funk. He is survived by: his wife Linda Morgan; his daughters, Valinda Atwater, Sheila Irven and Andrea DuBois; his siblings, Terry Funk and Carol Schmidt (Larry); his sisters-in-law, Delora Funk and Sherri Funk; and his grandchildren, Justin, Jeremy Scheffler, Garrett and Avery DuBois. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
