Millie Friesen Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Millie Friesen (Hillsboro, Kansas), who passed away on January 26, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Brenner and Lillian Tiemann Brenner; her son Billy; her half-brother Paul Brenner; her brother Warren Brenner; her husband Harry; her grandson Ryan Steele; and her great grandchild Gabe Friesen.
She is survived by: her children, Second, Grace Ann (Eldon Steele), Joyce Elizabeth (Jim Herrington), Deborah Lea (Bill Phillips), Marilyn (Ken Fast), Steve (Bobbie Friesen) and Phil (Susan Friesen); her cousin Bettie Batt of Marion, KS; and her brother-in-law Dwaine Friesen of Fairbury, NE. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Fund has been designated to Multiply (formerly Mennonite Brethren Missions/Services) for ministry in Japan.
