He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Watkins and Gladys Watkins (Lott); and his brothers, Raymond Howard Watkins I, Raymond Howard Watkins II, Michael Jon Watkins and Marvin Watkins.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Kaye Watkins of Marion; his daughter Debra K. Steele of Marion; and his sister Marilyn Kay Jones of Marion. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
