He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Buchholz and Julia Buchholz (Hervey); his son Kirk; and his siblings, Roy, Glenn, Harry, Gladys Jameson and Irene Wheeler.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Buchholz of Goessel; his children, DeVerne Buchholz (Sue) of Rural Hillsboro and Jan Frantz (Leonard) of Rural Hillsboro; and his brother Duane Buchholz of WaKeeney. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
