With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Glenn Jacob Goertz (Hillsboro, Kansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 14, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruno Goertz and Helena Goertz (Bartel). He is survived by: his children, Dyan (Dave Thornton) and John (Kelly Goertz); and his grandchildren, Drew, Sara Kate Thornton, Kristin Goertz (Paul Bergstrom), Olivia, Andrew West, Lauren Goertz and Jacob Goertz.
Memorials are requested in lieu of flowers. Gifts may be given to the Glenn and Janice Goertz Scholarship Fund with the Hillsboro Community Foundation or to the First Mennonite Church in Hillsboro in care of Jost Funeral Home P.O. Box 266 Hillsboro, KS 67063.
