It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris David in Hillsboro, Kansas, who passed away on December 13, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Plenert and Helen Plenert (Hiebert); her former husband Robert D. Dalke (Bob); her son Bob Dalke; and her brothers, LaVerne, Roland and Gordon Plenert.
She is survived by: her husband Fred David of Hillsboro; her children, Russ Dalke (Mary) of Castle Rock, Scott David (Melissa) of Tampa, DeVon Kelley (Durrel) of Derby, Helen Hagen (Roger) of Hillsboro and Kris Pschigoda (Jay) of Hillsboro; and her brothers, Abe Plenert (Janice) of Missouri and John Plenert (Karen) of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, 17 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
