He was predeceased by: his parents, David Giesbrecht and Mary Giesbrecht (Esau); his wife Cris Giesbrecht; and his brother Cris. He is survived by: his children, Weston Giesbrecht (Savannah) of Hillsboro, Olivia (Joey) of Hutchinson, Savannah of Hillsboro and Joey; and his extended family, Stanley, Mary Schultz of Rio Verde, Goiás Brasil, Joe, Martha Unruh of Hesston, Kansas, Brendan, Luci, Ben, Megan of Hillsboro, Kansas, Kenneth and Michelle Giesbrecht of Durham, Kansas.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jost Funeral Home and Crematory (401 S Washington St, Hillsboro, KS 67063). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Alexanderfeld Mennonite Church (300 Prairie Pointe Ct, Hillsboro, KS 67063).
