He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Pankratz and Helena Pankratz (Wall); his wife Dorothy Pankratz; his grandson Cody Pankratz; and his siblings, Harrison Pankratz, Elmer Pankratz and Luella Pankratz.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Thiessen (Lonnie) of Wichita, Krista Heinrichs (Max) of Hillsboro and Jerel Pankratz of Garnett, KS; his brother Roger Pankratz (Donna) of Chattanooga, TN; and his close friend Irma Koop. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
