He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex Money and Katharyn Money (Kemp); and his sister Susie Wessling (Money). He is survived by: his wife Kay; his brother Larry Money (Dawn); his children, Michael Money of Salina, Doug Money (Teri) of Penokee, Kansas, Meg Money of San Diego and Gretchen Elliott (Ben) of Lindsborg, Kansas; his grandchildren, Ashley Money, Michael John Money, Tayler Atkins (Casey), Clay Money (Katelyn), Beck Elliott (Kennedy), Cort Elliott, Karik Elliott and Crew Elliott; and his great grandchildren, Locke, Leighton and Macy.
While at Fort Hays, Mike met his lifelong partner Kay ImMasche, and they were later married in 1961 at the Methodist Wesley Foundation in Hays, Kansas.
