We are sad to announce that on February 6, 2020, at the age of 90, Jean Nickelson (Hill City, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends can send flowers and condolences in memory of the loved one. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Frederick and Lena Alice Kerbaugh (Kaufman); her brothers, Wayne and Rex; and her grandson Jerrod.

She is survived by: her sons, Roland (Elaine) of Grove, Oren, Allen, Roger and Rusty of WaKeeney; her daughters-in-law, Diana Nickelson of Penokee and Glenda Nickelson of Salina; her grandchildren, Becky Webb, Troy Nickelson, Jay Nickelson, Cheyenne Nickelson and Trina Hertel; her sisters, Bernita Bell and Leona Bell; and her sister-in-law Delores Kerbaugh. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.

“I just today learned of your mothers passing. My heart goes out to you. I am so sorry for your loss. I remember your mom---she was funny, down to earth and lighthearted. I remember her telling about cedar furniture that her boys had made for her in school..... and then a tornado had damaged / destroyed.
