Charles William Libel Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 21, 2024, at the age of 85, Charles William Libel Sr. of Highland, Kansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles William Libel Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles F. Libel and Dorothy Libel (Boyle); his siblings, Dorothy Callahan and Mike; and his daughters-in-law, Janet Libel and Lora Libel.
He is survived by: his wife Eva; his siblings, John Pat Libel, Bernard Libel and Kathy Gates; and his children, Charles Libel, Jr., Patrick Libel (Dee), Allan Libel (Jennie), Danny Libel (Kelly), Elizabeth Libel Bauerle (Daron) and Laura Hover. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Benedict's Catholic Church (676 St Benedicts Rd, Bendena, KS 66008). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to the Janet Libel Scholarship fund at the Bank of Highland.
