It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wesley Meyer (Hiawatha, Kansas), born in Horton, Kansas, who passed away on April 4, 2020, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Meyer and Thelma Meyer (Slater); his siblings, Robert and Ramona Kinsley (Meyer); and his nephews, Gary Kinsley and Greg Kinsley.
He is survived by: his close friend Alvin Waggoner; his wife Theresa; his daughter Jennifer Blauw (Jeff) of Olathe, Kansas.; his stepsons, Christopher Torkelson Horton (Courtney), Ryan Meininger (Kelle) of Hiawatha, Corbin, Harper and Paisley Blauw; his stepgrandchildren, Joshua Smith, Jaxon and Jhett Torkelson; his niece Tammy Terveer; and his sister-in-law Ella.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Muscotah Cancer Support Group or Freedom Hospice and may be sent in care of Chapel Oaks Funeral Home 124 S. 7th Street Hiawatha, Kansas 66434.
