With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Warren Gatz (Hiawatha, Kansas), who passed away on December 5, 2018 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Gertie; his parent Frieda Gatz; and his siblings, Thelma, Marcille and Wes.
He is survived by: his parent Henry "Pete"; his daughter Rita; his son-in-law Bob Haley of Denver; his granddaughter Brittany Haley of Parsons; his son Roger; his daughter-in-law Peg; his grandchildren, Taylor (Jennifer) of Hiawatha, Walker (Kyley) of Hiawatha and Parker (Mallory) of Hiawatha; his daughter Teres Lambert; his son-in-law John Krueger of Fort Collins; his children, Holly Holland (Jason), Fort Collins and Trey Lambert; and his great grandchildren, Sloan, Skylar Holland, Jordan, Lauren, McKenna Gatz, Lily, Willow Gatz and Rogan Gatz.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Warren and Gertie Gatz Scholarship Fund which may be sent in care of the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, 124 S.7th.
