We are sad to announce that on September 18, 2022, at the age of 74, Vanessa Mae Cruse Bowen of Hiawatha, Kansas, born in White Cloud, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Barney Cruse and Jessie Foster Cruse; her son John Ross, Jr.; her siblings, Albert, Glenn, Vinson and Donald Watson Jr.; and also, Sherlyn Kay and Teressa Ann.

She is survived by: her children, Roslyn Ross and Jared Weston; her granddaughter Nichole Bowen; her siblings, Barney, Donna, Pam, Gerome, Curtis and Raymond; her grandchildren, Jonathan Ross (Jessica), Jasmine, Kandyce, MiKayla, Vanessa, Zoe, Jaetyn and Jai; and her great grandchildren, Eliana, Evelyn, Sebastian, Liam Ross and Rowan Weston. She is also survived by other relative and friends.
