He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorenze Martin and Fannie Hansen (Clausen); his wife Sylvia Jebsen; and his siblings, Peter, John Hansen, Margaret Callamour, Emma Schmidt, Marie Schmidt, Theressia Klein, Rose Lillie, Dorathy Nelson and Darlene Jansen.
He is survived by: his children, Virginia Freese (Bob) of Hiawatha, Kansas and Monte Hansen (Madonna) of Sioux City, Iowa; his grandchildren, Katie Glasnapp (Matthew), Spencer Hansen (Stephanie), Abby Tanking (Jeff) and Breann Hansen (Jackson Lambert); and his great grandchildren, Mark, Kane, Lucy Tanking, Ella, Zoey Glasnapp and Nashtyn Hansen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
