It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Philip Korthanke of Hiawatha, Kansas, born in Robinson, Kansas, who passed away on November 13, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, F. P. Korthanke and Elizabeth Lynd Korthanke; his wife Anna Margaret Clary; his siblings, Bob (Verneal), Glen (Bessie) and Dorothy; and his daughter-in-law Charliss.
He is survived by: his children, Dave, Jim, Rick (Janice), Mark (Gina) and Lisa Neher (Tim); and his sister Betty Jo Burris. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren.
SOCIAL DISTANCING TO BE OBSERVED AND MASKS REQUIRED Friends may call at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, Hiawatha after 12 noon Sunday, where the family will be present from 2 until 6 p. m. Sunday.
In celebration of Philip's life the family requests donations be made towards to Philip Korthanke Memorial Fund to be designated later by the family, sent in care of the funeral home, 124 S 7th St., 66434.
