She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Shear and Essie Bushey Shear; and her sisters, Shirley Hickman and Ruth Ann Spiker. She is survived by: her husband Jere Bruning of White Cloud, KS; her daughters, Lu Ann Korthanke (Dennis) of Port Orchard, WA, Jane Byers of Louisburg, KS, Mary Pfeffer (Bill) of New Berlin, IL and Sara Weast (Jim) of New Berlin, IL.; her grandchildren, Laurie Allen (Matt), Jacob Byers, Jeffrey Byers, Emily Pfeffer, Jill Pfeffer, Megan Finster (Nathan) and Molly Weast; and her great grandchildren, Logan and Lincoln Allen.
