He was predeceased by: his daughter Randy Goodman; and also, Tracy Glenn and Richard Goodman (Dickie). He is survived by: his spouse Lida Lucille Moore; his children, Liz Babb (Dan) of Hiawatha and Donna Halstead (Daniel) of Morrill; his wife Verna Moore Goodman; and his children, James Adams (Tammy), John Adams (Melanie) and Kristie Doyle (Tom). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
