He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Ann Albers; his parents, Emmett Oltjen and Margaret Oltjen (Fiechter); his siblings, Robert, John Oltjen and Marilyn Oltjen Anthony; and his daughter-in-law Julie Oltjen.
He is survived by: his children, Terri Schmitt (Pat), Larry Oltjen (Martha), Susan Hammond (Richard), Sandra Heline (Jeff) and Rob Oltjen (late Julie Oltjen); and his sister Twila Rector. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in care of Chapel Oaks Funeral Home may be made to Shriners Hospital For Children or Upper Wolf Lutheran Church, Robinson Kansas.
