She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Pyle and Ruth Pyle (Kern); her husband Edward Ewing; and her daughters-in-law, Anita Ewing and Paula Ewing.
She is survived by: her children, Jim (Debra), Larry (Beverly) of Hiawatha and Martha of Holt, MI.; and her sister Rachel Sanner of Waterville, KS. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that memorials be given to Brown County Historical Society, in care of the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, 124 S. 7h Street, Hiawatha, KS 66434.
