She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva LeRoy "Roy" and Elizabeth "Betty" Arnold Spicer; and her sister Jane Stahl. She is survived by: her husband Roy "John" Curless; her son Matt of Hiawatha; and her brothers, Bob Spicer of Hiawatha and Jim Spicer of Hiawatha. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
