It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lester Lee Soyland of Hiawatha, Kansas, born in Horton, Kansas, who passed away on June 7, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Soyland and Agnes Tollefson Soyland; his daughter Genette Harris; and his sister Kathy Benneka. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sue Ireland; his daughters, Michelle (Dan Leif) and Susan (Chris Gormley); and his sisters, Dorothy Vaughan of Lenexa and Donna (Richard Lanter). He is also survived by four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Zion Lutheran Memorial Fund and may be sent in care of the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary.
