He is survived by: his wife Bertha Mijessepe; his children, Sherry Hale, Corinna Hale-Ross Lawrence (Joseph Ross, Sr.), Voneen Hale (Anthony Juliano), Jeremy Hale and Solon Jessepe; and his sisters, Marilyn Wakolee and Arnetta Hale. He is also survived by Fifteen grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
