He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Martindale and Bessie Schuler Martindale; and his sister Mary Lee Swank. He is survived by: his wife Leticia Blanton; his daughters, Kathy, Sherry, Karen and Lori; and his brother Donald Martindale (Ann) of Hiawatha. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren plus 1 great-granddaughter.
