He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Rainwater and Mary Emily Sharp Rainwater; and his siblings, Alberta Jones, Elaine Myers and Lewis Rainwater.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Gustafson; his children, Michael Rainwater (Wilma), Ron Rainwater (Susan) and Ruth Rainwater Licon (Jesus); and his grandchildren, Leigh Ann, Tanner, Walker Rainwater, Allen John Rainwater, Samantha and Alley Licon. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
