He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Rice and Minnie Belle McQueen; and his siblings, John, Bob, Frank and Valletta.
He is survived by: his children, Michael McQueen (Alice), Brian McQueen (Kim) of Hiawatha and Pam Meis (Joe) of Elgin, NE; his sister Millicent Bell of Ft. Morgan, CO; his grandchildren, Brandon (Desiree McQueen), Aaron (Allison Meisenheimer), Alan (Jamie McQueen), Tiffany Hasenohr and Michele (John Schilling); and his great grandchildren, Kevin Lock, Austin, Ashlynn Hasenohr, Anna, Lillian Scates, Ryan, Charli and Teague McQueen.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude's Hospital or Ronald McDonald House at Children's Mercy Hospital, or a charity of the donor's choice, which may be sent in care of funeral home.
