James Jones Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Jones of Hiawatha, Kansas, who passed away on November 1, 2024 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jones (Bill) and Melissa Mae Dugger Jones (Lissie). He is survived by: his sisters, Virginia Logan (Joe) and Barbara Hundley (Carlos); his wife Emma Marie Greene of Barbourville, KY; his brother Bob Jones (Maxine); his daughters, Sandra Gay Jones of Chapman, KS, Brenda Sue Elsbury (David) of Hiawatha, KS and Janice Marie Porter (Mark) of Muldrow, OK.; and his grandchildren, Kathleen Loetscher (Luke), Daniel Porter, Kinderly Cluff (Kris), Jessica Henks (Brian), Jennifer Kneisel (Jarred) and Jeffrey Elsbury (Amanda). He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren.
