He was predeceased by: his son Anthony Buss. He is survived by: his parents, Paul Buss and Mabel Buss; his wife Deloris Buss; and his children, Cathy Mueller, David Buss, Jerry Buss, Tim Buss, DeAnn Windibiziri and Sara Buss. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
