She was predeceased by: her parents, George Wakehouse and Bertha Wakehouse; her former husband Chuck Turpin; and her spouse Doyce "Bud" Barnes. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Britney White (Devin) and CJ Farris; her great grandchildren, Lily, Jameson and Lucas White; her stepchildren, David Barnes, Dorce Barnes and Debbye Barreda; and also, Kathy Turpin of Fullerton, California and Sharon Farris (Jim) of Hiawatha. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to BGMC, by sending them to Calvary Temple in Hiawatha.
