He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lester Weir and Marjorie Weir (Harmon); his grandfather Bill; his wife Gwen Ivey-Green; his children, Frederick Green of White Cloud and Rosella Madere (Chauncey) of Hiawatha; his adoptive daughter Kennaddi Weir of Hiawatha; his grandchildren, Robin and Jenna Madere of Hiawatha; his aunt Jayne Simmons of Rulo, NE; and his sister Mary Sue Hartman.
