He was predeceased by: his wife Karen Pederson; and his brothers, Bob Madsen and Fred Madsen. He is survived by: his son Erik Madsen (Trish) of Hiawatha; his grandchildren, Kate of Hiawatha, Sarah of Hiawatha and Alex of Hiawatha; and his brother Ken Madsen of St. Joseph, MO..
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM and from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home (124 S 7th St, Hiawatha, KS 66434). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
