Donald Barnes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2020, at the age of 92, Donald Barnes (Hiawatha, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent White Barnes; his stepmother Pearl Barnes; his siblings, Melvin Barnes and Dorothy Tollefson; his grandson Tyler Gerhardt; and his mother Esther Ruth Schober Barnes.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Donnita Gerhardt (Mike) of Ottawa, KS, David Barnes (Cynthia) of Hiawatha, KS and Joey Barnes (Tracey) of Powhattan, KS.; and his brother Doyle Barnes of Council Grove, KS. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren (one on the way), 1 great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
