He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Knudson and Gertina Knudson (Grosfield); his son Douglas Alan Knudson; and his siblings, Virgil Knudson and Veta Jane Knudson.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Knudson; his son Mark Knudson (Marcia); his grandchildren, Tricia Ricklefs (Chris), Matthew Knudson, Michael Knudson (Paige) and Meredith Mueller (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Carlie Clary, Brent Clary, Fenley Knudson, Madison Mueller and Mason Mueller. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
