It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daryl Monaghan of Hiawatha, Kansas, who passed away on November 14, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Daryl Monaghan to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Monaghan and Dorothy Askew Myer Monaghan; his siblings, Lyle, Carol, Wayne, Eudene Behrens and Illene Merz; and his great grandchild Chloye.

He is survived by: his wife Elsie Bindel; his sons, Gerald Monaghan (Rosie) of Hiawatha and Craig Monaghan (Jennifer) of Hiawatha; and his siblings, Maxine Pollom of Lawrence and Dale Monaghan of Topeka. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.

It was Daryl's wish to be cremated with services pending at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, Hiawatha, due to Covid 19.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Daryl Monaghan Memorial Fund to be sent in care of the funeral home, 124 S 7th St., 66434.
