She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Bauer and Stella Krenzel Bauer; her son Wayne Covert, Jr.; her grandson Robert Bianchi; and her siblings, Esther Koeperich, Donald Bauer, John Bauer, Harold'PeeWee'Bauer and Harlan Bauer.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie Bianchi (Tim) of Hiawatha, Sandy Walker of Mountain Home and Charlie Covert of Lawrence; and her brothers, Darrell Bauer (Sara) of Hiawatha and Arlan Bauer (Debbie) of Wichita. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, and a great-great granddaughter, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
