He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Earl and Veta H. Covert (Glenn). He is survived by: his wife Irene Kout; his daughter Sierra Stortz (Brandon); his grandchildren, Isabelle and Harrison; his brother Dayton Covert (Eileen); his nephew Brett Covert (Karie); his child Hiawatha; and his niece Laura Miller (Dave).
