He was predeceased by: his parents, Orin Strobel and Lena Strobel (Lange); his wife Yola Bee; his daughter Dea Strobel; and his siblings, James Fraley, Morris Fraley, Henry Fraley, Harvey Strobel, Orin Strobel, Virginia Rudey and Agnes Lacy.
He is survived by: his children, Doris Kneisel (Larry) of Hiawatha, KS, Denis Strobel (Chris) of Bluffton, SC, Dewey Strobel of Valmeyer, IL, Daren Strobel (Shari) of Owatonna, MN, Dana Strobel (Tracy Powell) and Plattsmouth (Beaver Lake). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Zion Lutheran Church, Hiawatha and may be sent to Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, 124 S. 7th St. Hiawatha, KS 66434.
